Removing Japanese Knotweed and providing Environmental Consultancy for the Midlands and beyond.

Japanese Knotweed Removal

Solutions from £500
5-10 year contracts optional

Our preferred method is treating the knotweed via direct stem injection
this is highly effective and minimises the risk to the local
environment. More options are available to suit your specific project.

We also treat other invasive species, including Giant Hogweed and Himalayan Balsam,
backed by 10+ years of experience.

Knotweed Management Plan Documentation

Knotweed Management Plans (KMPs)

Japanese Knotweed must be reported on your TA6 form when selling a property. Our KMPs include a detailed survey to facilitate smooth property transactions.

Insurance Backed Guarantees (IBGs) cover the cost of the management plan even if the contractor cannot complete the work. Most mortgage lenders require an IBG for infested properties.

Reforestation Project

Every job we complete will plant a tree, supporting the Derby Wildlife Trust
as part of their Derwent Living forest campaign.

This ambitious project aims "To create 30,000 hectares of wooded habitats
(such as woodland, hedgerows, orchards and parklands)
and wetland by 2050 and establish a connection between the new woodlands
of the National Forest in the south and the soon to be established
woodlands of Northern Forest in the north."

At DKC, we crawl through brambles, rivers and rubble because we love Derbyshire and its wildlife.
